Sat down today after thinking over it all last week. But still nothing? Writer's block...so they call it. But how can that be. When I realized it had been over a year and 1/2 since I last posted, I could hardly believe it! Shouldn't I have all sorts of things to say? It's not like everything has been at a total standstill all this time. And, God knows how much I truly enjoy writing.
Then, looking over at my dresser, I see a card that I keep with a scripture typed on it. What a reminder! Seems the more and more I thought about what I wanted to say, the more frustrated I became about the writing process. God always knows what we need to hear. The scripture, Phillipians 4:5b-7 tells us "The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
God found His Way through His Word to bring me back to the reason why I am here. It's not about what I have to say! God will give me the words to write in His Own time. With Him, I never have to worry about writer's block or anything else for that matter. He's got me covered in so many ways.
"My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty Rock, my refuge. Trust in Him at all times..." Psalm 62:7-8a
So as in all things in this world, I shouldn't be frustrated if it doesn't all come together just like I imagined. For I know He is near. He is this writer' Rock.

God is the Answer
You may remember the song by England Dan and John Ford Coley, Love is the Answer. Well, there is some truth to that...God is Love after all. And, God is the Answer. You might say that I haven't told you the question yet....but I assure you, I can't imagine any situation where God isn't the answer.
When I realized that...my life did become a lot easier. I'm not saying it's trouble free. Just that when things get crazy I know I can go to Him in prayer and He will give me the strength to do whatever is needed.
Philippians 4:13 tells me "I can do everything through HIM who gives me strength."
So, when things start to go in all directions and you are not sure what you should do, consider going to HIM in prayer.
